In my PhD thesis (funded by a four-year grant from the Swiss National Science Foundation) and a number of papers I have developed and defended the idea of moral underdetermination. My book that brings together this research has just been published with CUP.
My second major project is on the notions of merit and desert, especially with regard to their role in a liberal democratic framework.
Together with Monika Betzler, I am co-editor of the Munich Lectures in Ethics, a biennial lecture series at LMU Munich.
