I have been the academic director of the Center for Ethics and Philosophy in Practice since its founding in 2021.

In this function, I have taken on different responsibilites and undertaken a number of projects, a selection of which you can find here.

Projects & Responsibilities  

Conception and implementation of new short term visiting program, aimed at assisting junior faculty with grant applications

Conception and organization of weekly research colloquium “CEPP Talks”

Conception and development of public outreach format “Nachgefragt – Ethikgespräche an der LMU” (with Paulus Kaufmann)

Support for members of CEPP and others in organization of events (e.g. Munich Graduate Conference in Ethics 2019-2023)

Personnel supervision (assistant academic director, secretary, research assistants)

Financial oversight (annual budget, donations, library budget)

Grant applications and oversight of third party funding (DAAD, DFG, GAP, Humboldt)

Oversight of homepage, newsletter, advertising

Communication with affiliated groups (board, international board, members, university administration, visitors and doctoral students)

Organizational oversight during founding of CEPP (with Korbinian Rüger & Monika Betzler)
